RGB systems was founded by Mr. Roland Van Pamel in 1971 as an agency for different manufacturers of machines for the production of flexible packaging. Believing in the future of advanced electronic control systems for flexible packaging printing machines, the company started its own development and production of web video inspection systems in the late eighties.
In 1994 the company moved to new and larger premises in Oosterzele, allowing further expansion in production and development of the RGB web inspection systems. The company still grows and offers very dedicated units, meeting customers' specifications and wishes.
In February 2003 the company was integrated in the Dekimo group. Dekimo is an electronic and software development company with affiliated companies FDA (Optical Control Systems for the packaging department of pharmaceutical industries), Recomatics (Equipment for High Speed Optical Document Recognition) and Inaras (Secured Internet Solutions for Accountants).
In 2003 RGB systems managed (using the advantage of being part of a large R&D and engineering group) to renew its complete product range to meet the latest market standards. All RGB systems® machines now include state of the art high-quality digital cameras for a very sharp image reproduction. A touch-screen technology and an on screen display (OSD) makes the equipment very easy to use.
